Sr. High Youth will be meeting Wed. evening, Nov. 18, 7:00 pm at Maura Fertich’s house.
Jr. High Club: Dinner and games at Maria Yoder’s on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 6-9 pm. Jr. High Club members: instructions on what to bring will be sent to your home email addresses.
We will share in communion on Sunday, November 22.
This year’s community Thanksgiving evening service of the Hempfield Ministerium will be hosted by Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Landisville. The service will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 7:00 pm. A community choir will sing an anthem, “A Thankful Heart” and will rehearse once together at 6 pm on the eve of the service. If you would like to participate, please contact Christy in the office for a copy of the anthem.
An Intro. into Landisville Mennonite: Are you newer to the congregation? Considering becoming a member or just interested in learning more about the church? Then join us for five Sunday School sessions (Dec. 6, 13, 20; Jan. 10, 17) as we explore together core beliefs in our theological tradition, formative stories in our congregations history, and interact with members of the Ministry Leadership Team. MCC is collecting Christmas Bundles for distribution to children through the Spanish Mennonite Council and other urban churches. Assemble a bundle, and drop off at church or at the Material Resources Center by Dec. 1. More info. and content list are at the literature table.
Mennonite Disaster Service Building Site Dedication: Come and join the MDS family in dedicating the future site of MDS’s bi-national office and warehouse. Clean out your quilt closets for MCC! Quilter’s Attic at the PA Relief Sale would like quilt-related items—the used/unused/unfinished things no longer needed in your quilt or linen closet. For a detailed list of items, please see the flyer posted at the information center. These items can be dropped off at the Ten Thousand Villages store in Ephrata.
