Passion Week Services
- “Were you there?” A walk through Holy Week: Following our series of worship services in Lent, our Holy Week worship service will invite us back into the experiences of Holy Week. Using guided reflections, scripture reading, sights and sounds, & acts of worship such as communion & prayer, you will be invited to walk through the days of Holy Week. Persons are invited to come anytime between 6:30—8:30 PM & move through the different stations at their own pace. If you have questions, please talk to Pastor Randall or Pastor Julia.
- The Prayer Vigil will be held from Friday evening, April 2 through Sunday morning, April 4. This is a special time of expectant conversation with God as we wait for his Son to rise! The sign-up sheets are the narthex. Questions? See Michelle Rutt.
- Community Good Friday service: The Hempfield Area churches will be holding a community Good Friday Service at Landisville Church of God, 12:15 p.m. Individuals interested in participating in a community choir during the service are asked to participate in a rehearsal at 11:30 a.m. that morning. If you would like to see the choir music, please contact Pastor Randall.
- Easter morning: Fellowship time, 8:45 AM; Worship with communion, 9:00 AM (no Sunday School) **For our Easter worship, please bring a potted plant to celebrate new life in Christ.
Next Wednesday Night Out is May 5. None in April. Stay tuned!
You are invited to the Mennonite Women Sewing group on Thursday, April 1 from 8:30 till 2:30. The projects for April will be knotting comforts for MCC, and machine sewing for baby kits. There will be no quilting this month. Business meeting and devotions start at 11:30 and brown bag lunch at 12:00. If anyone would like to know more about machine sewing projects at home, talk to Janet Newswanger or Anna Mae Kauffman. Reports on our last year activities are on the literature table.
