Wednesday Night Out: It’s time again for our annual Wednesday Night Out picnic! It will be held June 2 and starts at 5:45. Food and drink will be provided. Please bring lawn chairs because we will be eating outside, weather permitting. Dale K. Stoltzfus won’t be around and will not be able to bring his team of horses for the wagon rides that night. (Sorry for this change.) This will be the last WNO meal until the fall.
Choir concert: The Landisville Mennonite Church Choir, directed by Doug Bomberger, will present a concert on Sunday evening, June 6, at 7:00 p.m. The concert will feature classical choral music by Handel, Mozart, and Zingarelli; songs by early American composer William Billings, and hymn settings. All are welcome at this event, which will also feature opportunities for congregational singing.
Andy & Lana Miller will be preaching June 13 and leading an elective Sunday School conversation that morning.
The Ethiopian Evangelical Church of Lancaster which is currently meeting in Landisville, is growing and needs a larger facility. They have an opportunity to purchase the former Landisville Mennonite Church facility. To make that possible, a buyer is needed for their current facility at 143 W Main Street Landisville. It seats 100 and the price is $124,900 obo. Your help is urgently needed to find a buyer to before the larger facility gets away. Please contact Dave Yoder 898-3883 yoderdave@aol.com with names of potential buyers or any suggestions to help make this move possible. The congregation is a member of the Landisville District with an attendance approaching 80 persons.
