Congregational Announcements
Many thanks to Rhonda Nissley for her many years of service as usher coordinator. Stu Cary has agreed to serve in this position. He will be orienting with Rhonda this summer and will then begin contacting people to fill this important function. Please give prayerful consideration to your participation in this work. It is a good way to get to know people in the church.
Produce sharing table: Beginning this Sunday and continuing through the summer and fall there will be a sharing table in the multi-purpose room for the gardeners among us to bring excess produce to share with others in the congregation.
An orientation meeting for those going on the SWAP trip: If you plan to join the Sr. High Youth trip to Elkhorn, WV, July 26-31, please bring your selves and a dish to a potluck and orientation meeting Sunday after Sunday School. We will meet in the multipurpose room.
Transportation needed for youth service project: If you have a vehicle you are willing to let the Sr. High Youth borrow for the duration of our trip to WVA, July 26-31, please contact Jonathan Bowman.
Community Meal: Looking for small groups, Sunday School classes or families to provide a meal for the Landisville community. The following dates are open: July 22, August 26, October 28. Please contact Seline Perrone with interest.
VBS volunteers (class teachers and backpack adventure activity leaders): Please plan to come to the VBS orientation meeting 6:30pm on Tuesday, July 6 at church. Check with Nance Fertich or Brenda Horst for more information or questions. Thank you!
“Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” is an optional church activity for Sunday lunch, August 1. Interested members will sign up either to host the lunch or be a guest of someone who is hosting. The host will provide the main dish and guests will be assigned to bring a side dish or dessert. Over the next 3 Sundays there will be a table in the foyer for sign ups. Deadline to sign up is July 11. You will receive food information the week of July 25. Guests will receive their assigned host location and map in their mailboxes on Sunday, August 1.
