Benediction Landisville Mennonite Church Choir
Everyone is invited for hot drinks in the fellowship hall & to stay for the Sunday school hour. Classes are available for all ages as well as infant and nursery care.
Congregational Announcements
Blood pressure checks will be offered today in the Health and Wholeness room immediately following Sunday School.
Choir concert: The Landisville Mennonite Church Choir, directed by Doug Bomberger, will present a concert tonight at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome at this event, which will also feature opportunities for congregational singing.
Prayer for congregation: As a pastoral team we desire to be more intentional in our praying for individuals in the congregation. Beginning Wednesday, June 16, we will pray specifically for 3 or 4 families from the congregation. This will become a regular part of staff meeting, praying for different families each week so that over a couple of months each family is prayed for. The week before you and/or your family is prayed for, a member of the pastoral team will be in touch with you inviting specific prayer request you would like to name. Please know that you don’t need to wait on the pastoral team to make a contact. You may at any time bring a prayer request to the pastoral team for them to lift in prayer during their weekly staff meeting.
Andy & Lana Miller will be preaching June 13 and leading an elective Sunday School conversation that morning.
The Ethiopian Evangelical Church of Lancaster which is currently meeting in Landisville, is growing and needs a larger facility. They have an opportunity to purchase the former Landisville Mennonite Church facility. To make that possible, a buyer is needed for their current facility at 143 W Main Street Landisville. It seats 100 and the price is $124,900 obo. Your help is urgently needed to find a buyer to before the larger facility gets away. Please contact Dave Yoder 898-3883 yoderdave@aol.com with names of potential buyers or any suggestions to help make this move possible. The congregation is a member of the Landisville District with an attendance approaching 80 persons.
Help Share the Faith: Sunday School Teachers are needed for the Fall 2010–2011 year. Please contact any of the S.S. superintendents (Rick Rutt, Dot Smith, Brenda Horst) if you can help teach or be on the substitute list.
