Everyone is invited for hot drinks in the fellowship hall & to stay for the Sunday school hour. Classes are available for all ages as well as infant and nursery care.
Congregational Announcements
If you plan to join the Sr. High Youth trip to Elkhorn, WV, July 26-31, please come and bring a dish to a potluck and orientation meeting next Sunday, July 18 after Sunday School. We will meet in the new Connections room, but will be sharing the kitchen with another group.
The nomination slates for church offices are due Sunday, July 18. Additional copies available in the narthex.
The VBS Mission Project this year, to go along with our mountain theme, will concentrate on Chile and the kits that Dustin and Sarah Gingrich help to take to displaced victims of the February earthquake and tsunami. Each kit ($200 each) includes a cooking stove, propane tank, a cabinet, fold-away table, a regulator hose, four stacking stools, two shelves, 6 place settings, a teapot, 3-piece cooking utensil set, and a set of pots and pans. The congregation will also have an opportunity to give to the project Sundays July 11th and 18th at the VBS mountain display in the lobby.
Free Barnstormer’s tickets: There are free tickets available to the Barnstormers baseball game on Friday, August 13, 7:00 PM compliments of Lancaster Redevelopment Authority. Interested? Contact Christy at the church office.
Timbrel: Ladies, the Timbrel is a small magazine for and about the women of our church, world-wide. The topics are timely and informative. The special group rate is $ 13.00 for a year. (Bi-monthly- 6 issues) and is mailed directly to your home. To begin or renew your subscription, call Reba Sharp.

Sunday School Sabbatical: As a way to provide a break to Sunday School teachers and to create intentional space for connecting together, we are taking a sabbatical from Sunday School August 1-22. Please refer to the informational flier that was in mailboxes for more information. Copies of the flier are also available on the information alcove.
